Or was that a “Start is born”. After many years of working on web applications Black Mamba Designs unofficially disbanded. Our applications were taken offline, to be appreciated primarily as the learning experiences that they were. There were many ups and downs, including being hacked and shut down by our ISP, temporarily. Pity, but kind of fun to sleuth out what the hackers did on our server. It’s an odd feeling to use the history command and see stuff that you know you didn’t do. Kind of violating actually.

But the real reason BMD was taken down was to make room for a new project, one that has been succeeding ever since it began. SlapStart.com. As it turns out, my writing efforts have garnered the attention of other would be start-ups enthusiasts, and so I’ve dedicated an increasing amount of time to it. The goal is to provide companies real feedback to aide them along their way to greatness. We’ve just added these featured buttons, which I link here for all to enjoy. Especially myself, who’s testing them.
